We provide occasions for our congregation to socialise, to meet newcomers and to maintain friendships. Each month, except in July and August, there are events planned so that the congregation can come together in fellowship and fun. 

Coffee Hour
Following Church Service each Sunday we gather in the church main hall for coffee, tea and juice and conversation.  Sometimes there just might be some cookies or cake!

Lemonade on the Lawn
In the summer, instead of coffee hour, we gather on the front lawn and chat over a cool glass of lemonade.

Fellowship Luncheons: twice a year
For those who would like a mid-week outing to join in a time of renewing friendship, to partake in singing favourite hymns or carols, to share Communion and to enjoy a light luncheon.  Check up-coming events for dates.

Pot Lucks
We enjoy pot luck dinners with themes such as ‘Talent Night’ and ‘International Flavours’.  Check up-coming events for dates.

Fellowship Committee
Many of these fellowship events are organised by the Fellowship Committee.  We also work in cooperation with and in support of other church committees in their activities.  Newcomers wishing to join the committee are always welcome; please contact the church office.

Afternoon Circle of the Goforth Guild
We meet monthly on the first Wednesday at 1:30 pm, except during the summer.  Our meetings include devotions and a short program followed by afternoon tea. We support the Women’s Missionary Society as well as community outreach agencies: The Mission, High Horizons and Inner City Missions.  All members of the congregation are welcome to attend; contact the church office.

Afternoon Craft Group
We are a group of dedicated knitters, sewers, and craftspeople meeting every Monday from September to June.  We have fun together as we are plying our crafts and enjoying a cup of tea.  New members are very welcome; please contact the church office.

Funeral Receptions
The loss of someone draws us nearer to our family and friends.  We provide a reception in our church hall where you can gather and share memories.  Refreshments are provided or a light lunch, according to the family’s wishes.  Our convenor will be pleased to visit with you to discuss your needs and can be reached via the church office or through the Minister.
