Worship Calendar

The Bible identifies Christian worship as providing the opportunity for great joy and thanksgiving [I Thessalonians 5:16-18].

“Rejoice always, pray continually,
give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

St. Timothy’s Worship Committee, a Committee of Session, works with the Minister, Music Director and Organist to provide such opportunities. The committee is responsible to assist the Minister in the planning and arranging of regular and special worship services and to make recommendations to Session concerning public worship. Some of the Committee’s tasks are to obtain ‘supply’ organists, recruit and organize Worship Assistants and provide oversight to the Choir, Flower Committee and Sound Engineers. Additionally the Committee is responsible for sanctuary decorations and the use of the appropriate liturgical colours during the year.
